To any lucky jet-setters heading abroad via Terminal 1 in Dublin soon, make sure you leave yourself time and an appetite to hit up Marqette. Part of The Wright Group, Marqette is one of the trendiest and tastiest airport restaurants I have ever visited!
We were heading to Madrid on a lunchtime flight so decided to stop off for a spot of brunch. I was struggling to choose from the amazing selection on offer at Marqette ranging from a bakery, to a rotisserie, to a food truck “The Hatch” whipping up pancakes and omelettes! In the end, the amazing aromas from the food truck won us over and we got some pancakes and an omelette to share. Our brunch would not have been complete without some yummy prosecco on tap from the cool bar behind the restaurant.
As somebody who is usually quite critical of airport food I was a bit apprehensive. How wrong I was, Marqette has drastically changed my opinion. I really enjoyed every mouthful of the pancakes and omelette and I could have happily sat in Marqette without noticing the time slip by until my flight.
The atmosphere was really nice, it almost reminded me of a Wholefoods in America or Eataly! The staff were so friendly and attentive and my whole experience here was great.
Overall, Marqette you have my seal of approval! Hopefully I will be visiting you again soon!
